So, i gave an interview for a training. And guess what….. REJECTED. It’s not that it was very important or it meant to me alot, but you know holding a reputation in my department for being an “EXCELLENT STUDENT”, which i tell you im not, it’s not just shocking but a bit disappointing.
I’m not the kind who opens up about my feelings and my thoughts, even my best friend gets to know only some of it. And i know, there are plenty of people like me out there, tring to live their lives and make it better. The reason i am writing all this is because no one who knows me personally is going to read it. So yeah im safe.
Two important lessons today.
- Learn to handel rejection.
- Don’t beat yourself up just because you didn’t live up to some one else’s expectations.
Yeah i got rejected. So what? It that the end of world???? No baby! Just chill. U’ll get it next time. Just work harder and smarter. Analyze what went wrong and just don’t do it again. It’s that simple. Like let me tell you what i did wrong. I think, i opened up about myself more that what was required. So here you go. Life lesson learned, DON’T GIVE TOO MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF TO YOUR INTERVIEWER. Now next time im simply going to watch my mouth.
Next, don’t overthink it. You live for yourself. Let me tell you a secret! Whatever happens to you it’s for your own good. Just remember that. Do your best and if you fail, try try again. I can give a thousand examples of many famous people who never gave a damn about what people thought, they just did it. Don’t complaicate your life by problems that only exsit in your brain. Clear your head. Calm yourself and focus, focus on your goal not on what everyone says or thinks. Don’t let your emotions rule you. More importantly don’t let people rule you. Take that crown and place it on your own head because it belongs to you. You are the ruler of your own kingdom. Respect everyone’s opinion and listen to suggestions, but if they are negative and not in your interest, do what your heart says.
Find yourself some activities so you dont have time to think negative about yourself or about others. Don’t let anger, hatred, sadness or any other negative feeling live inside you. It’s like poison it finishes you from inside. Think positive, act nice, trust yourself and everything will be okay.
